Beginners wild camping weekend

Building confidence and belonging in the outdoors!

This wild camping weekend is for people who would love to feel more at home in nature, and feel more confident camping and being on their own outside.  We will spend our first night together camping in an ancient woodland by the stunning river Findhorn, and on the second night you have the option of going further from base camp and experience your first ‘solo’ overnight.

My first overnight solo camping was a very profound experience and a gateway to a whole way of being.  I now run wilderness solos and ‘vision quests’, and a block I often encounter for people longing to gift themselves a depth experience like this, is simply lack of confidence in being alone in the dark, fear of the cold, choosing where to set up camp, or how to make a fire if you needed to.

During this weekend we will go slowly and take our time with practical things for feeling at ease outside, and there will also be the opportunity to bring some intentionality and reflection into your experience of tending a fire and sleeping out under the stars (or tent if it’s raining!).

This weekend is for anyone who wants to learn how to be more independent, confident and at home in your self and wild beautiful Scotland.
